Groucho's Set an Example of Public Awareness

2nd March 2009
Groucho’s become an institution within the music scene of Dundee long ago by buying and selling CD’s, records, cassettes, videos and DVD’s since 1976. Their impeccable dedication to public service was once again brought to attention moments after serving the eager ‘T in the Park queue’.
Having sold tickets for T in the Park since day one, Groucho’s proprietor Alastair Brodie was prepared to break out the black bags and don the rubber gloves just moments after serving the last queue member to ensure the street was quickly returned to its original state.
Queuing for your T in the Park ticket has become part of the overall experience in recent years, however with an increase in queue size demanding additional supervision, an already small profit margin on ticket sales is being stretched to the limit.
At what stage will these additional factors force small outlets to stop providing tickets for large events such as T in the Park?
