Win pushes United Up to Fifth in the Table

Dundee United clinched a tight victory against Hamilton Academical on Saturday with Craig Conway scoring the early winner with only four minutes on the clock. The 1-0 away triumph takes United to fifth place in the Scottish Premier League.
United remained optimistic with chances from Francisco Sandaza, James Wesolowski and Prince Buaben all being denied by Accies keeper Tomas Cerney.
Hamilton’s James McCarthey had a late opportunity to draw the game but shot straight to United’s keeper Lucas Zaluska. Accies have now went six league games in a row without scoring a goal.
Levein looks forward to a home game up against Kilmarnock on Saturday as he continues to look for a replacement for striker Jon Daly. That replacement could be Huddersfield’s Danny Cadamarteri. Levein singed Cadamarteri previously when he was managing Leicester. Although, he had just came out a six month ban due to a failed drug test. Cadamarteri has previously played foor Leicester, Leeds and Everton.
